Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee – Tom Schlösser, Hanneke van West, Jeroen Renkens and myself – it is my great pleasure to invite you to the next NSDS meeting, which will take place from August 25-27 2027 (Wed-Fri) at a wonderful venue near the Dutch coast,. The meeting will be held at Duin and Kruidberg, a former private mansion located approximately 30 minutes by public transportation from Schiphol airport and in close proximity to the vibrant cities of Amsterdam and the Hague.

This will be the third time that the NSDS meeting will take place in the Netherlands. Ten years ago, we gathered in the heart of Amsterdam; Five years ago the meeting was held online due to COVID-19 . This time we have chosen to return to the traditional NSDS concept: a venue close to the sea with all facilities under one roof fostering both scientific as well as social interaction.

As part of the tradition, we warmly encourage students and paramedics to participate as well! Should the main venue reach capacity, additional hotel accommodations are available nearby. Group activities are planned for everyone.

We are truly happy and proud to be part of the NSDS family – a community of colleagues and friends where free exchange of ideas is central. We should bear in mind that there are not many societies in Europe with such an atmosphere and a focus on spinal deformity. As always, we also look forward to welcoming colleagues from outside the NSDS, further enriching the scientific program.

We sincerely hope to see you all in the Netherlands from August 25 – 27, 2027!
